What was more dangerous? Sending her away with only the most fundamental training or none? Would Ben have been better off with his mother, or father, shadowing them and not submerged every day in training, in the Force and that lure to the Dark Side?
Luke himself had reached almost adulthood without even an awareness of his connection to the Force. He had been, well, probably her age. Neither of his Masters had been given the time to train him for long.
And he still made mistakes, ultimately.
He handed her a bowl and began to eat from his own. "You'd be better off not doing it at all."
