So much for rage quitting Jedi ways

The point of being a hermit was being alone. Had no one told this girl that? Luke tried ignoring her like a stray begging to come inside, but she wasn't taking the hint. What more could he do?

Without taking her eyes off him, Rey reached back blindly until her hand found the staff she'd built out of scraps herself as her one and only trusted weapon. She couldn't tell if it really had been so close at hand or if she had summoned it with the Force, but her first had closed tightly around the dark metal now.

The old Jedi was so nonchalant about the whole ordeal and that was probably what was pissing Rey off the most. Memories were slowly starting to come back to her, all those mental images, the sensation of being completely stuffed by so many poeple she cared about, so many she'd desired to be close to, so many she wished to know better and-- Even Master Skywalker had been there and she...

Rey held her breath, consciously trying to put a barrier between her mind and his, just like she'd done with Kylo Ren.

Her stance became more tense as he approached, but then as she offered her the cloth, Rey considered her options. She needed to wash herself, but those fish creatures were out there under the rain doing their daily chores as if nothing could disturb them.

They'd see her covered in this filth...

"Is that the price?" She asked, taking the cloth. She was quick to wipe her face clean. Only with a little hesitation at first, she placed her staff against a wall again and took her pants off. They did not smell of piss but then...? She'd never pissed herself, what was that? Putting them aside, she started bathing her legs too, barely showing any shame.

How many times had she cleaned up herself like that back in Jakku? There was no such luxury as private bathhouses in a place where water is so precious and scarce.

"Is this what you want in exchange of teaching me?"

They had both seen something in that dream. She had seen his desire. His longing and loneliness.
